The upgrade added 22,000 square feet, nearly doubling the size of workspace, along with a refreshed set of amenities.

This month, Kiln is celebrating the opening of Kiln Salt Lake City 2.0. Our revamped Salt Lake location is a response to growing demand from startups and enterprise-level companies for an elevated workspace.

The upgrade added 22,000 square feet, nearly doubling the size of workspace, along with a refreshed set of amenities, to our current location at The Gateway. Importantly, Kiln Salt Lake is now best suited to help its members enhance their wellbeing and perform at their best. Here’s how the renovation will influence Kiln:

A place to gather:

While the upgrade added overall space to Kiln Salt Lake, we focused primarily on creating new gathering hubs. We added 14 new communal meeting rooms to our existing 8. These meeting rooms range from traditional conference rooms to lounge settings, and they are designed to accommodate a range of get-togethers from client meetings to coffee chats. Additionally, Kiln Salt Lake 2.0 will now have improved options for companies choosing Kiln for its private offices. 12 additional meeting rooms will live within suites for specific companies to utilize.

A place to create:

In addition to our flexible membership options, Kiln Salt Lake has launched a new office type called a ‘Workshop’. A Workshop office is designed for the hands-on company that is prototyping, conducting product demos, and storing products. Kiln is also catering to creatives with the addition of a new music and podcast recording studio, and a new event space for photographers and filmmakers.

A place to grow:

The expansion of Kiln Salt Lake is designed to serve larger teams and enterprise companies seeking an experiential workspace. Studio offices for teams of up to 50 will contain private meeting rooms, and semi-customizable bespoke design elements. More and more teams are choosing to make Kiln their headquarters or central hub.

For smaller teams anticipating high growth, month-to-month memberships and flex-offices mean that you escape the traditional corporate lease, only pay for what you need now, and grow at Kiln.

Kiln is proud of our technology-enabled space, which has been upgraded to include substantial improvements to acoustics, lighting, air quality, and hybrid meeting tools.
