On Feb 14, 2014, the Community Foundation of Utah hosted the first SIF as a venue for organizations to pitch innovative and sustainable ideas for solving social problems. Since 2014, $398,500 has been awarded to social enterprises by the SIF Investment Committee, a group of subject matter experts with a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability in the social sector.
